Introduction:
Temperate Forests are found in areas of mid-latitude. They have moderate rain and four seasons. The soil is very fertile and here you will find oak and maple trees.
Definition:
Its a biome and consist of trees that lose their leaves every year.

The plants species consist of Oaks, Dutchman's-Breeches, Wildflowers, Sassafras, Red bud, and Maple.
The animals species consist of American toad, Ground squirrels, Eastern Chipmunks,all types of frogs, and Yellow-breasted bird.
The algae species consist of mushrooms.
Abiotic Factors (rain, wind, temperature, location, soil quality, seasons):
Rain: 30 to 60 inches per year
Wind: Depending on the season
Temperature: 50 degrees F
Location: Eastern half of the United States, Canada, Europe, parts of Russia, China, and Japan
